Meet Henri and Corinne, two proud pupper parents to Teeter, the spirited black golden doodle, and Joy, the seasoned mini schnauzer. Together, we emBARKED (get it?!?) on a heartwarming family portrait session against the serene backdrop of Cedar Lake East Beach in Minneapolis—a day filled with love and a touch of unexpected excitement.
As the sky threatened rain, casting a moody overcast ambiance, Henri and Corinne, accompanied by Teeter and Joy, arrived at the beach, ready to capture memories to last a lifetime. With a permit in hand ensuring a seamless photoshoot, they ventured onto the sandy shores, the gentle lapping of waves and the families of geese and ducks provided an original soundtrack to their adventure.
Against the backdrop of the Spring greenery, Henri, Corinne, Teeter, and Joy posed like, well like they were handling two very furry toddlers. Dogs come with their own challenges on a shoot, but it is always fun and always 100% authentic, documentary styled photos! From those playful moments of frolicking in the sand to tender embraces, each photograph painted a portrait of love, laughter, and cherished companionship.
As the session drew to a close, a touch of spontaneity added an unforgettable twist to their day. With Teeter's playful spirit leading the way, she dashed after a flock of ducks, her enthusiasm contagious. However, the unexpected turn of events saw Teeter venturing a little too far into the water, prompting Henri and Corinne to watch anxiously from the shore. In stepped my partner, Oliver, wading into the water to retrieve Teeter, ensuring her safe return to dry land. Despite the brief moment of excitement, laughter echoed along the beach, a testament to the unwavering bond of family, and one very wet furbaby.
