Celebrating New Beginnings
At Hannah Lee Kuhn Photography, we have the immense privilege of capturing the most precious moments of our clients' lives. One such cherished family, longtime clients of ours, recently celebrated the upcoming arrival of their third daughter with a magical maternity photoshoot on the rocky beaches of Duluth, Minnesota.
Duluth, with its dramatic landscapes and moody weather, provided the perfect backdrop for this special session. The fog rolled in from Lake Superior, wrapping the shoreline in a mystical embrace. The two-hour session was a family affair, with everyone coming together to celebrate this joyous occasion. The star of the shoot, Carissa, looked like a true goddess, draped in a flowing forest green fabric that beautifully contrasted against the dark rocks and misty surroundings. Her grace and elegance shone through every frame, capturing the essence of motherhood and the anticipation of welcoming a new life.
Her partner and two children shared in the moments, their laughter and love palpable despite the chilly weather. Even the family dog, Leo, joined in the fun, adding a touch of playfulness to the session. Unfortunately, their chickens and ponies could not fit in the car - so they stayed at home.
As a photographer, there is something incredibly special about working with long-time clients. Having the opportunity to document their journey through various life stages creates a deep bond and understanding. This session was no exception. We have had the honor of photographing Carissa and her family through many milestones, and witnessing their growth and love over the years has been a true delight.
