A Wintery Evening at Franconia
As winter reluctantly loosened its grip, April arrived with a stubborn chill in the air, reminding us that spring in Minnesota can sometimes feel more like an extension of the frosty season. Yet, amidst the lingering cold and blustery winds, love blossomed vibrantly at Franconia Sculpture Park in Shafer, MN, as we embarked on a fun engagement shoot with a couple whose warmth and resilience defied the wintry elements.
Meet Sarah and Hailey, whose love story is as unique and beautiful as the sculptures that adorn the park. Determined to capture their bond against a backdrop of art and nature, they braved the cold with unwavering spirit, turning a chilly evening into a celebration of love and creativity.
The atmosphere was brisk, but the energy between them radiated warmth as they embraced each other, their laughter echoing amidst the sculptures. Bundled up in layers and armed with hand warmers, they were troopers, determined to create the colorful and dynamic shots they envisioned for their engagement session.
Below is a sampling of some of the images captured. A visual feast for the eyes, the vibrant colors of the sculptures provided a striking contrast to the muted tones of the early Spring landscape.
